Rudolph was born 6 Oct 1775 in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania. He was baptised 25 Dec 1775. He died 21 Mar 1851 in Chicora, Butler Co., Pennsylvania. He was buried in White Oak Cemetery, Kepples Corners, Butler Co., Pennsylvania.
According to [Brown], Rudolph arrived in Butler Co. in 1794 with James Hemphill. He was followed a year later by his uncle, Jacob, and Jacob's son of the same name. We find the three, along with Rudolph's brother, Philip, on the 1803 tax record for Buffalo Twp.

Christina was born 14 Apr 1773 in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania. She died 14 Oct 1853 in Chicora, Butler Co., Pennsylvania. She was buried in White Oak Cemetery, Kepples Corners, Butler Co., Pennsylvania.
She is the daughter of Frederick & Anna Catharine (Lauffler) Reiss, and the sister of Elizabeth Rice, who had married Rudolph's brother, Philip.
[Barnhart/Warter] notes that her headstone reads "4-14-1773 10-14-1853 71 yrs. 6 mo. 20 days Wife." However, these dates are not consistent with this age. On the 1850 census of Donegal Twp., Rudolph is listed as 74 and Christina as 71, which would place her birth year sometime around 1778 or 1779.
Further, in a later section [Barnhart/Warter] lists her birth date as 29 Sep 1753. This latter date doesn't seem reasonable given her spouse's birth year and is, I believe, actually the birth date of Christina's father. This later section also gives her death date as 23 Jan 1848 which I also believe to be her father's death date.
