A variety of sources put his death Aft 1837. However, Marriages & Deaths From Weekly Newspapers 1818-1865, Westmoreland Co, PA has, "Speakman, William S., Huntingdon Twp & Lydia Copeland d/o Late THOMAS, N. Huntingdon Twp on Wednesday evening." (dated May 3, 1834)
