He went to Blanchard Twp., Hancock Co., Ohio with his parents in 1834. Nathaniel was a farmer and stock raiser. Hannah's mother, Wilhelmina, born in 1800, lived with Nathaniel and Hannah in the 1880 census. Nathaniel died from stab wounds in his leg inflicted by his pigs causing him to bleed to death.
