He is the son of Jacob & Mary (Kiester) Bowersox. He was a farmer.
He was previously married. [Wig] lists Almira J. Bowersox as a child of Charles and Geneva and notes that she is buried with her parents. However, it gives the birth date as 1 Mar 1881, which is impossible for either parent. The death date given is 20 Aug 1906, unlikely for a marriage that occurred in 1910. I suspect that Almira was Charles' first wife, not his child.
