Warren was born 3 Nov 1921 in Mt. Vernon, New York. He died 7 Jan 2012. He was buried in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, New York.

In 1943, he served in World War II with teh HQ Division of the 1st Army, taking part in the Battle of the Bulge. He earned a Bronze Star. After the war, he was employed by the Greenwood Mills in New York City and, at the time of his retirement, was Credit Manager. After his retirement, they moved to Hampton, New York, where the Diefendorfs had settled in the early 1700s.
