On the 1850 Census, Hester is living in the household of Frederick Hains, the father of Reuben Haynes whom she will marry later this year. She is listed as Hetty Sindorf.
On the 1860 Census we find her living in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania with Reuben and four children. Their last name is given as Hains. David Sarver, age 12, is living with them. This appears to be the son of Jacob & Louisa Sarver who were innkeepers in Hempfield Twp.
On the 1870 Census we find her living in Hempfield Twp. with Reuben and seven children. Their last name is Haynes.
On the 1880 Census she is still in Hempfield Twp. She is listed as Hester Haines with her husband, a farmer, and six children.
By the 1900 Census, only Lloyd is living with her. She states she was married for 50 years. Given that the understood marriage year was 1850, that would seem to imply Reuben has just died. We also learn that one of her children has died, though not which one. She lists herself as infirm.

On the 1860 Census, his real estate is listed as worth $2500 and his personal property another $400. On the 1870 Census, his real estate is listed as worth $7000 and his personal property another $600.
