Henry was born 22 Jan 1843 in Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania. He died 22 Feb 1927 in Memphis, Missouri. He was buried in Prairie View Cemetery, Scotland Co., Missouri.
He was in the Civil War, fought in the Battle of Shiloh, and was captured and spent a year in a Confederate prison. Upon his exchange, he re-enlisted with the 21st Missouri Volunteers until the end of the war. Afterwards, he purchased a farm in Scotland Co., Missouri, where he and his family lived until he retired and they moved to Memphis, Missouri.
Henry married #25999 Caroline Victoria Terrell.
