[Mercy V-99] variously lists the month of his birth as March and May.
His obituary notes that he and his sister and brother were all born on March 2, two years apart.
In 1854, they moved to Michigan, settling in Lenawee Co. It was probably after his marriage that he changed the spelling of his name to Staninger.
Henry married #41737 Rebecca Greenwald.
