George was born 24 Feb 1940 in Hudson, Massachusetts. He died 19 Apr 2012 in Plainfield, Connecticut.

An excerpt from the Norwich Bulletin:

George attended Griswold High School before joining the United States Air Force in 1957. After leaving the service he worked for the next 29 years for the US Postal Service in Jewett City before retiring in 1992. After retiring, George worked at a variety of part time jobs, to stay active, working at the French Club, NAPA auto parts, Norwich Bulletin, Briarwood Driving School, TVCCA & Dayville Mini-Storage. George was a member of the American Legion Post 15, serving as senior vice & junior vice finance officer, Chaplin, color guard and service officer. He was also a lifelong member of the Jacques Cartier Club (French Club) in Jewett City.

At the time of his death he had grandchildren but I don't know through which child: Kira and Drew Perry, Kayla, Kole and Hailey Mechlin and a great grandson Collin Perry.
