Douglas was born 1828.

I have the gravest doubts about Douglas. He is listed in [Baumgarten] as a child of George & Catherine. However, [Baumgarten] also lists a Douglas Rosensteel, born in the same year, as a grandchild of George & Catherine through their daughter, Mary. I suspect these are duplications and, given ages and marriage years, this child belongs under Mary.

A note at the end indicates that it was compiled by "K. L. Baumgarten, a descendent[sic] of Jacob Rosensteel through his granddaughter Catherine Rosensteel, who married Thomas Waggoner, through their son William Waggoner and Clara Jesson."
