Floyd K. Stouffer, 81, of Latrobe RD 5, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, in Latrobe Area Hospital.He was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Brenizer, a son of the late Earl Floyd and Esther C. Weaver Stouffer.
Prior to retirement, he had worked for the former Derry Westinghouse Corp. for 40 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of VFW Post 444, American Legion Post 324 and the Ukrainian Society, all of Derry, the L.O.O.M., American Slovak Society and the Kingston Veterans and Sportsmen's Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Stile and Ruth Ruffner, and a brother, Everett Stouffer.
Floyd is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ellen G. "Ellie" Bishop Stouffer; his daughter, Elaine Morzinsky and her husband, Paul, of Weatherly; three grandchildren, Kent Morzinsky and Tracy Frable and her husband, David, all of Weatherly, and Chris Morzinsky of Hazleton; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Megan and Kevin; a brother, Donald Stouffer of Blairsville; and three sisters, Irene Dell, Thelma Anderson and her husband, Dean, all of Derry, and Dorothy Petro of Youngstown; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Quinlisk Funeral Home, Derry with the Rev. David B. von Schlichten officiating. Interment followed in Coles Cemetery, Derry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd K. Stouffer, on June 19, 2002.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked for Kennametal Inc. for 18 years, and prior to that Latrobe Area Hospital for 22 years. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Youngstown.
Ellie is survived by her daughter, Elaine J. Mrozinsky and her husband, Paul, of Weatherly; three grandchildren, Kent Mrozinsky of Weatherly, Chris Mrozinsky of Hazleton and Tracy Frable and her husband, David, of Weatherly; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Megan and Kevin; her sister, Midge Smith and her husband, James V. "Pud," of Latrobe; and several nieces and nephews.
