#59295 Andrew William Barnhart ( William A. Barnhart • Jacob Barnhart • Jacob Bernhardt • Casper Bernhardt◊ )
Andrew was born 28 Mar 1839. He died 10 Jan 1920.
[Barnhart/Warter] has that Andrew entered the Civil War on 13 May 1862 with the 13th Pennsylvania Volunteers, was wounded at Fredericksburg and discharged in 1863. According to [Brown] the 13th only served from Apr 1861 to Aug 1861, when it was mustered out. Andrew does show as a private in Company C. He is probably the A. W. Barnhart who was a private with Company G of the 134th Regiment. This regiment was formed in Jul 1862 and did fight at Fredericksburg. A. W. is listed among the wounded.
