Richard's parents moved to Plain Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana in 1832. In 1833 Richard's mother died and his father moved west with the older children and leaving Richard to be brought up by the Elisha Dunnuck family. In 1880 Richard lived in Prairie Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana. In 1900 he was a farmer in Prairie Twp., Kosciusko, Indiana and Elizabeth's father lived with them.
