Salome was born 5 Apr 1816 in Fairfield Co., Ohio. She died 8 Jan 1897 in Licking Co., Ohio. She was buried in Etna Cemetery, Licking Co., Ohio.
Sallie was a good friend of Hester Bright who married Isaac's brother, Alexander Miller. It is believed Isaac and Alexander went to Fairfield Co., Ohio about 1833. There are two stories about their leaving Virginia. One says they left with only a horse and a gun and another that they each had $100. Jacob and Elizabeth Knepper gave them 160 acres in Licking Co., Etna Twp., Ohio in the southwest quarter of Section 11 on the National Road between Etna and Wagram. They died on the farm.
