Mary was born 1850 in Wagram, Ohio. She died 6 Dec 1853 from consumption. She was buried in Etna Cemetery, Licking Co., Ohio.

She was born on the family farm. When she reached courting age her father, Isaac, bought new furniture for the parlor. It consisted of a love seat, two chairs and a marble top table.
