He was Chester's twin and was born after the death of his father. He was a graduate of Ohio State University. He taught school and coached at Uhrichsville, Mt. Gilliad and Worthington, Ohio. He was County Agricultural Agent in Lebanon, Ohio 1931-1937. He was Agricultural Agent and Special Representative for the B & O Railroad from 1937 until his death. He was also a lobbyest for the Ohio Association of Railroads. They lived in Worthington, Ohio.
