Forrest was born 4 Jun 1873 in Whitley Co., Indiana. He died 3 Apr 1938 in Etna Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana. He was buried in Stoney Point Cemetery, Etna Green, Prairie Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana.

Forrest was a farmer and Lucinda a teacher. In 1888 Forrest moved with his parents to Etna Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana. He graduated from North Manchester College and taught school from 1891 to 1897. In 1900 he lived in Warsaw, Wayne Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana. Then he went into farming in Etna Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana where he was in 1920. From 1925 to 1929 Forrest was elected as a representative in the Indiana General Assembly. He died at his home.

Forrest married #4507 Lucinda Belle "Lucy" Towns.
