Chambersburg - Mary S. Kinney, 89, of Menno-Haven and formerly of Ambridge and Greensburg died, Saturday, July 26 in Menno-Haven.

Born Aug. 17, 1913 in Keyser, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lewis A. and Ellen Shanor Sullenberger. Her husband, Robert H. Kinney died in 1989.

She was a member of the Ambridge Zion 1st Lutheran Church, L.C.W. and the Esther Circle.

Mrs. Kinney was also employed as an LPN and had been employed for three years at Watson’s Home for Crippled Children in Sewickley, Pa.

She was also a member of the Ambridge Women’s Club and volunteered with the American Red Cross.

She is survived by two daughters, Jean Weaver of Lacona, N.Y. and Peggy Tinklepaugh of Annandale, Va.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 in the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg, Pa.

There will be no viewing.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ambridge Zion’s 1st Lutheran Church, 8th Street and Park Road, Ambridge, Pa. 15003.

Arrangements are by the Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home Inc., 297 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg.

Mary married #17433 Robert Henry Kinney.

Robert was born 1 Apr 1911. He died 14 Mar 1989.
