#66834 Harry Milford Powers ( George W. PowersThomas PowerGeorge Power )

Harry was born 29 May 1899 in Mill Hall, Clinton Co., Pennsylvania. He died Aft 6 Apr 1959.

His draft card describes him as tall, slender with blue eyes and brown hair.

On the 1920 Census of Mill Hall he is a laborer in the brick yard.

There is some confusion about his children between the 1930 and 1940 Censuses. In 1930 he is in Mill Hall with his second child a daughter, Eleanor, born Abt 1923. He is working as a clerk in a pool room. In 1940, he is a laborer in a paper mill in Mill Hall, but his second child is now a son, Elmer, born Abt 1923. One possibility is twins, although it's odd that a different one would be present each time. Another possibility given the similarity of names and dates is that the census taker had a really bad day on one occasion. I've listed both in case the first possibility is true.

Harry married #66854 Hazel.
