Her Ancestral File entry lists her as Ellen Simpson. I'm uncertain if that is her maiden name or simply convenience because her maiden name is not known. Her entry does not tie her into the Simpson family we are concerned with here.
Note that her FindAGrave entry identifies her father-in-law's entry as her husband of the same name.
