He owned the gaming machines and juke boxes in bars and restaurants, etc. His was the largest amusement company in Connecticut. He organized all the Amusement operators in Connecticut to ensure they retained their current 'districts', thus ensuring he would continue to be the largest in Connecticut.
He also was a loan shark.
He got his start during the depression with assistance from his uncle Barney. Later, Abe took business from Barney.
