#945 Jake Schroeder ( Aaron Schroeder )

Jake died.

Jake's existence comes from his brother, Herman's, obituary, which states that Jake lives in Milwaukee.

The only candidate I've found on the census record so far is a Jacob Schraeder, born Abt 1898 in Russia, appearing in 1930 and 1940. The household language is German which, as noted on his siblings, was the language of the Schroeders over Yiddish. He is married to Mary Schraeder, also Russian-born, and has seven children over this timespan: Reuben, Helen, Gladys, Velda, Dorothy, Edward and Mary Ann. An earlier census for Nebraska shows an oldest child, Mary. Only the youngest three were born in Wisconsin; the rest were born in Colorado and Nebraska.

Without further documentation, it's uncertain if Schroeder = Schraeder and this is the correct individual. However, since earlier censuses have Jack and Jake Schroeders in Nebraska and Colorado who belong to other, established families, I'm not confident that this is a match and have not included the family in the tree at this point.
