H. S. Garner, Barnhart. A short history of a portion of the Barnhart family found in the possessions of Mary Alice (Barnhart) Knepper. It claims it was given by Rev. H. S. Garner, who married into the family, at a Barnhart reunion in 1890. This was passed through Rev. William A. Brown of E. Waterford, Pennsylvania, who was the grandchild of Susannah (Barnhart) Shakely.
