Ida was born 15 Jul 1875 in Liberty Twp., Fairfield Co., Ohio. She died 2 May 1940 in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio. She was buried in Glen Rest Cemetery, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

She was born in the Macklin homestead and educated in the local one-room school house. She also studied music.

For the first two or three years of their marriage, they lived on the Norris property, in the "Little Brick"--a house that the preceded the larger house that Josephus later built. Then they moved to Columbus, living in various rental houses, until they finally bought their own home on Miller Ave. in 1913.

Ida married #13881 Lebbeus Grant Norris.

Lebbeus was born 18 Jun 1868 in Fairfield Co., Ohio. He died 17 Aug 1936 in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio. He was buried in Glen Rest Cemetery, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

He is the son of Josephus & Rebecca Jane (Smith) Norris. Lebbeus always declared that th epreacher that married them said that Ida was the prettiest girl he had ever married. He was a carpenter.
