At the time of his marriage, he lists his occupation as "axe man" working in the Axe factory.

I haven't found him on the 1920 Census.

On the 1930 Census of Greene, Clinton Co., Pennsylvania he is a farmer.

On the 1940 Census of Logan, Clinton Co., Pennsylvania he is a laborer in an ax factory.

Clarence married first #50824 Ida Estella Grenoble.

She is the daughter of Michael Edward & Sarah Elizabeth (Auman) Grenoble and was from Lamar Twp., Pennsylvania. She later married Lee St. Clair and had a daughter, Ernestine.
