He died of a stroke suffered six days before his death. Funeral services were held at his home with the Reverend Delar R. Keener of Center Hall and the Reverend I. R. Miller of Spring Mills officiating.

Henry married first #46706 Claire Amelia Steele.

Claire was born 17 Aug 1869. She died 20 Jan 1920.
